15-year-old arrested with heroin

A 15-year-old boy has been arrested for the possession of heroin in the Hikkaduwa area.
Acting on information received, Hikkaduwa Police apprehended the suspect and found 1 g 150 mg of heroin in his possession.
He is to be produced at the Galle Magistrate’s Court.
Meanwhile in a separate bust police arrested a person with 2 g 290 mg of heroin in the Badowita area in Mount Lavinia.
He was nabbed by officers attached to the Mirihana Anti Vice Unit.
