I will never personally try to influence any businessman or business, President Maithripala Sirisena said today. He added that unlike previous leaders he will not attempt to interfere in businesses and only provide support where necessary to develop the sectors.

President made these observations at the 10th Hotel Show Colombo 2015 at the BMICH, Colombo. He also added that the Government will take steps to completely ban the use of the chemical Glyphosate in pesticides as it has been deemed dangerous by both experts and the WHO.
