Parliament to be dissolved after appointments to CC

The Parliament will be dissolved after the House approves the civil society representatives to the Constitutional Council (CC), a source close to the Government said.


A special parliamentary session to approve the civil society representatives of the CC will also be held next Wednesday (03).


The appointment of three members from civil society for the CC will be approved during the session.


The 10-member constitutional council, to re-establish and make appointments to the independent commissions to oversee various areas of governance, will comprise of seven members of parliament and three independent members.
