Dates announced for submitting postal voting applications

The Commissioner of Elections Mahinda Deshapriya says that applications for postal voting at the upcoming General Election will be received from July 03 to 14, 2015.
President Maithripala Sirisena on Friday dissolved the parliament, paving the way for fresh parliamentary elections on August 17, eight months ahead of the schedule.
Nominations for the 2015 General Election are to be accepted between 06th and 15th July, 2015.
