Special traffic plan in Rajagiriya tomorrow

A special traffic plan will be implemented tomorrow (13) in and around Rajagiriya 7.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. while nominations for the forthcoming General Election are accepted, the Department of Police said.


“We recommend the motorists to use alternative routes during this period” the police said in a statement.


The candidates contesting for the forthcoming election will arrive at the Department of Elections in Rajagiriya, tomorrow. Nominations will be accepted until the 13th of this month. Elections Commissioner Mahinda Deshapriya said that applications for postal votes can be made from August 3 – 10.
