Customs seize 116,000 duty-unpaid cigarettes

Over 116,000 illegally imported cigarettes have been seized by the Revenue Task Force (RTF) of the Sri Lanka Customs, this morning (15).


The approximate street value of the cigarettes haul is over Rs. 6.4 million, it was reported.


The Sri Lanka Customs conducts further investigations, in this regard, Customs Media Spokesperson Leslie Gamini said.
