Youth drowned in Uyanwatta Wewa

A 19-year old youth has drowned while bathing in the Uyanwatta Wewa in Bandaragama, last afternoon (21), police said.

The deceased body has been deposited at the Bandaragama Base hospital pending the post-mortem examination, police added. 

The Bandaragama police are conducting further investigations in connection with the incident.
