Three new diplomats appointed

President Maithripala Sirisena on Wednesday (30) appointed a High Commissioner and two new Ambassadors, the President’s Media Unit said.
Esala Weerakoon has been appointed as Sri Lankan High Commissioner to India, while Aruni Ranaraja and Dr. Saman Weerasinghe have been appointed as Ambassadors to Philippines and Russia respectively.
