President appoints ambassadors for task force to combat kidney disease

President Maithripala Sirisena on Saturday named Muttiah Muralitharan and T.M. Dilshan as Brand Ambassadors (KIDS) for the Presidential Task Force to combat  kidney disease.

This was a pledge given by President Sirisena during the last election campaign. The ceremony in this connection was taken place at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, prior to the commencement of the Sri Lanka– Pakistan T20 cricket match.
