Elections Chief to brief top police officers

The Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka (HRCSL) is scheduled to conduct a programme to brief the high-ranking police officers in Kurunegala and Puttalam districts with regard to the forthcoming General Election. 

Elections Commissioner Mahinda Deshapriya is expected to take part in the programme, which is to be held at the Chilaw Divisional Secretariat. 

All police officers holding the ranks of OIC, ASP, SP, SSP and DIG in the Kurunegala and Puttalam districts will be briefed at the programme.
