August 9, 2015   10:45 am

Dr. Anurudda Padeniya has been re-elected as the President of the Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA).

Earlier, the Mount Lavinia District Court had issued an enjoining order restraining holding the election of the GMOA, which was slated to take place on June 27.

The petition had been filed with the court challenging the conducting of the GMOA election, citing alleged malpractices by certain groups pertaining to the election.
