The experts have predicted that the United People’s Freedom Alliance would secure at least 112 seats at the forthcoming general election, former Minister Dilan Perera said.


The observation was made at a press conference held in Colombo, this afternoon (10).


“A survey conducted by a group compromising experts, university lecturers, and lawyers have predicted that the UPFA would secure 118 to 112 seats,” he added.


Commenting on the new twists in former national rugby player Wasim Thajudeen’s case, he also went into say that “the new government attempts to investigate unrelated cases, though there are many other cases that needed to be investigated.”
