Lankans arrested with gold in India

The Customs sleuths at the Cochin International Airport in India on Tuesday arrested two Sri Lankan nationals for attempting to smuggle gold. 

Officials said Ravichandran Kannaswami and Balayya Nirshad, were apprehended on their arrival in Kochi from Colombo. 

The sleuths found the duo were carrying four gold bars by concealing it inside a bandage covering their legs.
