Conspiracies in play to prevent UPFA victory - Dilan

August 14, 2015   06:04 pm

Former MP Dilan Perera says that various conspiracies are in play to prevent the United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) from winning the upcoming General Election.

Therefore supporters of the party need to be informed to cast their vote for the “Betel Leaf” at the election on August 17, in a manner that does not violate election laws, he told Ada Derana.

The former Minister stated that he respectfully asks Venerable Maduluwawe Sobitha Thero, who had claimed that a dictator had risen in the country, as to whether this is the democracy established by them and if this is a just society.
Perera called on the people to ensure the victory of the UPFA by defeating all conspiracies attempting to suppress the will of the people, which he says does not even take place in countries ruled by dictators.
