Since we have a faith that the National Government would address the issues faced by the Tamil community, the Eelam People’s Democratic Party (EPDP) will back the coalition government, former Minister Douglas Devananda said.

“We are going to support the National Government, because they have promised to settle the Tamil issues. We have already conveyed our decision to President Maithripala Sirisena and the Prime Minister,” he added.
