Three sentenced to death for murdering 4

Three individuals found guilty of murdering four persons including two women in the Badulla area in 1990, have been sentenced to death by a court.

Badulla High Court Judge sentenced the three men, residents of Bogahakumbura, delivering the verdict on Friday, 25 years after the quadruple murder took place.

They had been charged hacking to death four persons including two women using sharp objects.
