Australian Naval Ship in the island

Australian Naval Ship HMAS ‘Melbourne’ arrived in Colombo on a goodwill visit, the Ministry of Defence announced today. Sri Lanka Navy accorded the visiting ship and its crew a traditional naval welcome.


The ship will remain in the island till September 2.


According to naval sources the crew of the ship will take part in special programs organized by the Sri Lanka Navy to enhance the friendly relations between the two navies.
