Mangala holds talks with UN rights chief

Foreign Minister Mangala Samaraweera and Justice Minister Wijedasa Rajapakse have held discussions with UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein.


The meeting took place at Palais Wilson in Geneva on Sunday evening.


The meeting took place ahead of UN Human Rights Council session today. Sri Lanka’s Permanent Representative to UN in Geneva Ambassador Ravintah Ariyasinha, Eastern Province Governor Austin Fernando and the President’s advisor on Foreign Affairs accompanied the ministers.
