Suspect injured in shooting at Kaduwela court

A person was wounded and hospitalised following a shooting incident which occurred at the Kaduwela Magistrate’s Court premises this morning.
Police said that a suspect who was brought to court to be produced before the magistrate was injured when an unidentified gunman opened fire at him at the steps leading to the court.
The suspect was rushed to the Nawagamuwa Hospital following the incident and later transferred to the Colombo National Hospital.
