President to address the 70th UN General Assembly on Sep. 30

President Maithripala Sirisena will address the General Assembly of the United Nations on September 30, during the 70th Session of the UN General Assembly Meeting, held at the UN Headquarters, New York, USA from September 15 to October 04.


President Sirisena left for the USA this morning (23).


Sri Lanka’s delegation led by the President and Foreign Minister Mangala Samaraweera, Minister of Justice Wijedasa Rajapakshe and the Minister of Skills Development and Vocational Training Mahinda Samarasinghe, along with other officials, will participate in the assembly as well, the President’s Media Unit says.
