Sri Lankan govt urged to release all Tamil Nadu fishermen

India’s National Fish Workers Forum (NFF) today urged the Sri Lankan government to immediately release the seven Tamil Nadu fishermen who were arrested by the Sri Lankan navy on charges of fishing in their waters on Monday. 

Chairman of the NFF M Ilango said the country boat of the fishermen was also detained. 

He urged the Sri Lankan government to immediately release the fishermen and also their boat.
