UNP Provincial Councilor Tissa Bandara arrested

UNP Central Provincial Councilor Tissa Bandara has been arrested for allegedly assaulting an individual at the Dambulla Economic Centre, the police say.


The Provincial Councilor was arrested following a complaint lodged by the individual with the Dambulla police station on October 21.


Tissa Bandara will be produced before the Dambulla Magistrate, today.
