CID records statement from Uduwe Dhammaloka Thero

The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) has recorded a statement from Venerable Uduwe Dhammaloka Thero this morning.
The popular Buddhist monk of the Alan Mathiniyaramaya Temple in Polhengoda had recently made a controversial statement regarding the death of late Venerable Maduluwawe Sobitha Thero.
He claimed that the death of the former Chief Incumbent of the Kotte Nagavihara had been suspicious and had called for an investigation into it.
The CID had summoned Dhammaloka Thero to give a statement regarding the matter for investigations being carried out.
