The Government must not hide the truth about details on explosives and ammunition that found from a house in Chawakatchcheri, former Minister Professor G.L. Peiris stressed.

He made the observation while speaking at a press conference held in Colombo this afternoon (30).

“The Government must find and reveal when this started, and how far this has spread,” he said. Peiris also went on to say that the Government without any delay must disclose what they were planning to do if these explosives were to be sent to either Colombo or Wellawatte.

Peiris also accused the Government of attempting to hide the “truth” about the incident.
