Monk reported missing following landslide in Pambahinna

A monk is reported missing following a landslide occurred in Pambahinna in Balangoda last night (02), the police said.


A part of the Niyandagala Aranya Senasanaya temple has also been destroyed by the landslide, it was reported.


The landslide triggered by heavy rains in the area since last Monday. The Disaster Management Center (DMC) has also recognized the location as a landslide prone area, it was reported.
