Five Kelaniya Uni students arrested for ragging

Five students from the University of Kelaniya have been arrested following a complaint filed by a new female student alleging that she was subjected to severe ragging by them.

The students were arrested by Kiribathgoda Police today, acting on the complaint. 

The complaint states that the female student was also verbally abused and threatened by the suspects and that she was allegedly ragged for wearing long trousers.
