GMOA to launch strike on May 31

The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) has decided to stage a token strike on Tuesday (May 31) over alleged irregularities when preparing the list for post-internship appointments by relevant authorities.
 
GMOA Secretary Dr. Nalinda Herath stated that the strike will be staged in all government hospital in the country except for those in areas affected by the recent floods and landslides.
