O/L examinations application deadline extended

The deadline for acceptance of applications for 2016 G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination has been extended until June 10, the Education Ministry said.


Issuing a statement, Commissioner General of Examinations W.M.N.J. Pushpakumara said the decision was taken due to severe weather conditions experienced in many parts of the country last week.


According to the Examinations Department, application forms of school candidates have been mailed to the School Principals and the duly filled application forms should be directed by the Principals to the Examinations Department.
 

Private candidates must submit their applications in accordance with the Examination Department’s specimen application which appear in national newspapers, prior to the deadline.
