President Maithripala Sirisena holds bilateral discussions with President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon today (14).

The President was warmly welcomed by his Tajikistani counterpart at the Presidential Palace in Dushnabe, the PMD said. Bilateral discussions were held between the two countries after a cordial talk between the two leaders.

“Held very fruitful exchange of ideas with Tajik President @Emomali Rahmon in Dushanbe. He has excellent views on security of small nations and confidence building measures to prevent conflicts,” President Sirisena tweeted.

The President is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with several other leaders on the sidelines of the CICA Summit in Dushnabe.
