Heavy traffic in Fort

Heavy traffic reported in Colombo Fort area as Lotus Road is obstructed due to a protest staged by a group of disabled soldiers, Ada Derana reporter said.

Disabled soldiers and army officers held the protest in front of the Fort Railway Station over the current army pension procedure.

The soldiers also attempted to submit a petition to the Presidential Secretariat Office, Ada Derana reporter said.

The police have requested motorists to use alternative routes.
