22nd National Samurdhi Conference…

The 22nd National Conference of the All Ceylon Samurdhi Development and Agricultural Research Production Assistant Officers’ Association was held at the Temple Trees under the patronage of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, today (20).

At the event, 176 Samurdhi and agricultural officers were given permanent appointments who had not been confirmed as permanent within the last five years.

Addressing the event, President Rajapaksa stated that his aim is to eliminate poverty by creating a people-centric economy.
