Court issues order against protesters blocking road

The Colombo Magistrates Court today issued an order preventing any protesters from blocking the Colombo-Chilaw main road.

A group of three-wheeler drivers had launched a protest blocking traffic along the road, against the decision to increase traffic fines. 

The three-wheeler drivers were also blocking the Colombo-Negombo railway track at the Galkanda railway crossing.
