Provincial Councils and Local Govt Minister Faizer Mustapha said the Delimitation Committee report will be gazetted on Friday.

Mustapha had earlier clarified that the background to hold the Local Government election will also be finalized before July.

The final draft of the Delimitation Committee, with the signatures of all five members, was handed over to the Minister on 17 January.

“We had to face many obstacles in the process. Even our own people blamed me after it took more than time we expected,” he said at a press conference held on Thursday.
