Two arrested over shooting in Gampaha

Two individuals have been arrested in connection with the shooting and injuring of another individual in Kirindivita, Gampaha.
 
The victim was traveling in a jeep in Kirindivita when they were shot by a group that arrived in a motor vehicle on April 08.
 
Police Headquarters stated that the two suspects, together with the motor vehicle supposedly used for the shooting, were arrested based on a tip received by the Law Officers’ Empowerment Unit of Gampaha.
 
The two suspects who are residents of Ganemulla are to be produced before the Gampaha Magistrate Court.
