Two arrested in connection to Jaffna shooting that claimed life of cop

Two suspects have been arrested by the police in connection with  the shooting incident that happened in Nallur Jaffna yesterday (22).
 
The incident claimed the life of one policeman, early this morning (23).
 
An unidentified gunman had opened fire at the vehicle of Jaffna High Court Judge M. Illanchelian in Nallur, Jaffna yesterday (22). 

Police spokesman said that Justice Illanchelian was unharmed following the shooting and that, however one police officer had sustained injuries.
 
The incident had reportedly occurred at around 5.30pm yesterday (22) near the Nallur Kovil in Jaffna while the shooter had targeted the vehicle the judge was traveling in.
