Student and father remanded over leaked A/L paper

The student arrested for allegedly leaking the G. C. E. Advanced Level Chemistry paper has been remanded till August 30.

The father of the student, a doctor attached to the Police Hospital, has also been placed in remand custody, according to Police.

The arrest of the student was made by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for allegedly distributing the controversial Advanced Level chemistry paper using electronic devices, Police Spokesman ASP Ruwan Gunasekara said.
