Amal Pushpakumara arrested for possession of live ammunition

Western Provincial Councilor (UPFA) Amal Pushpakumara Silva was apprehended for possessing 3 rounds of live ammunition a short while ago.
It has been reported that he was taken into custody at his residence in Ratmalana.
The Police made the arrest following intelligence received after the interrogation of a suspect who was arrested for possessing a firearm at the Ratmala beach strip.
The Galkissa Police have reported that further investigations are being carried out currently.
