Intl bodies should not be able to dictate terms to the government – Wijeyadasa

Former Minister of Justice Wijeyadasa Rajapaksa stated that the government should always be the majority shareholder when entering into agreements with foreign organizations. 

He further stated that foreign organizations will dictate terms to the government should they fail to retain the powers of being the majority shareholder in an agreement. 

The former Justice Minister stated that the Lanka IOC is currently at a position where they can dictate terms to the government.

Wijeyadasa Rajapaksa made these statements during his exclusive interview on Derana 360 yesterday (6).
