Severed head found in a bag in Colombo

A severed head of a male was found in a bag at Bandaranayake Mawatha, Keselwatte earlier this morning (07).

The bag containing the severed head was discovered following information received by the police, according to Police Media Unit.

The identity of the victim is yet to be ascertained.

The police suspect a group or an individual to have killed the victim and to have left the head in the place.

Keselwatte police have commenced investigations into the incident, Police Spokesman SP Ruwan Gunasekara said.
