Peshala Jayaratne appointed Chairman of National Gem and Jewellery Authority

Peshala Bandara Jayaratne has been appointed the Chairman and a member of the Director Board of the National Gem and Jewellery Authority.

He received his letter of appointment from President Maithripala Sirisena at President’s House yesterday (02).

He has previously served as the 6th Chief Minister of North Central Province from 2015 to 2017.
