Brazilian arrested at BIA with 66 swallowed Cocaine capsules

Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) has arrested a Brazilian national at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) with Cocaine capsules worth Rs 13 million.

The suspect had concealed the cocaine capsules by swallowing them.

Reportedly, after the arrest yesterday (30), the suspect has been hospitalized and the police have been able to extract 66 Cocaine capsules from his stomach.

The arrested suspect is a 30 year old Brazilian and the PNB will present him at the Negombo Magistrate Court, today (01).
