Chinese Ambassador calls on Mahinda and Ranil

UPDATE: (9.06 p.m.) - Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Cheng Xueyuan, paid a courtesy call on UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe this evening, the Chinese Embassy in Colombo said.


Ambassador of China in Sri Lanka, Cheng Xueyuan, today called on newly appointed Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.

The Ambassador met Rajapaksa at his residence in Colombo and conveyed Chinese President Xi Jinping’s best wishes on his appointment to office.
