I admire you as a highly capable and talanted young person in our country. You like challenges and hope you will prove that with determination you can do anything you like. Hope people in South understand that. Unfortunately I am not elegible to vote in South but would have done if you had contested in Western province. I wish you all the very best. Do something to your country and urge all young people to serve mother Lanka like Ms Anarkali.

Ralahami.. Could you please name some of her talents?? For me she is the only Sinhala announcer who cannot speak Sinhala (I don´t want my childrent to listen to what he speak as I want them to speak proper Sinhala), She is the only actress who cannot act...the only singer who cannot sing.. so what is her talent?

Thease are all political talks. To take votes you will give anything. But it is just to enter to the bracket of a useless politician. Do not worry about your knowledge. aLMOST 90% of our parliment ministers are ideots. The most currupted, lawless set of people in the country. From top to bottom 105 commision to approve any project if they get their portion. So you are also going to be a member of that. Remember it is only one wat ticket. Duminda became number 1 in westen province so it show thinking level of Colombo people (Shame I also from Colombo) we will see level of Galle people ! I thinkg Anarkali should wake up and see the real world / country which she is living in . It is typical of all recent political people to make these sort of "Stupid" remarks , promising the moon and all till they get through . One war was won by the security forces of this country . But the biggest economic downfall ever faced by this country and humiliation will be sooner than anticipated if these sort of personal are appointed to "Once Respected" governing bodies of Sri Lanka. As selecting employees to organizations , people should choose personal to these "once esteemed" positions with due diligance. These elections are held on our own money and we appoint these people , who we all clearly are aware , who lack the knowledge , ability and competance to rule our country. Correct me if I am wrong , the countries reputation is at risk if these sort of actions are continuously approved by the Sri Lankan Nationals .

I am a southerner, but have no interest in voting for any of you belonging to any party ever. Please stop reading your melodrama script as any wrong turn can cost you your worthless life. Our country does not need pathetic losers like your kind to represent us. Obviously actors and politicians do the same thing in two different ways. I mean trying to be someone that you are not. Actors destroy the Sinhala value system and try to do what their English masters/parents could not accomplish. It is obvious that Politicians continue to do the same things done by their English masters/parents. For those in south, I like to ask not to participate in any elections held by this English created illegal government continuing the colonial legacy. Let these traitors of all kinds go to hell including those red, blue and green devils wearing patriotic cloaks. Those who think that silent majority that does not participate or only does it as a habit on these trivial political exercises are dumb you should be warned that your kind is going to learn the lesson of your life soon.

Oh God! When I heard this first, I didn´t believe. Is this the country I was born and I am bringing up our kids? Are you all the people who run the country in future. I feel like staying in Australia for ever. I realy didn´t think SLFP would do this kind of stupid thing after winning the war against LTTE. We all kept hope on our president and the government to shine the island as a perl again in the Indian ocean. But it is becoming a day dream now. I think this is a test from MR. A gamble to see what happens to elections if he loses some public consent. It is very clear that Anarkali running for south should irritate the southern people. Would people vote for her for MR or would people make her lose. A test of "kalaguna salakeema" of people. Depending on this MR can judge how much effort to put on winning the presidential election which is the more important one for him.(of course at this moment it´s clear he´ll win but with some more public dissent, hunger and fear of MR turning to JR,hopefully karu Jayasuriya overthrowing ranil....) btw Churchill lost the elections. can happpen Or else he could be trying to ridicule RW that "anarkali dammath api dinum do :P"

Dont blame or underestimate people, without knowing their potential!!..when Rosy came to politics, she was also blamed like this(..specially by the SLFP supporters)..but all know how she has done well up to now...When H.E.MR came to contest for the presidential election, i still remember the way people insulted him, saying that he is not a suitable person to be the President of Srilanka..but now the whole world know how did he face the challenge, which so many were describing as ´impossible´...i NEVER say that we have to compare Anarkalee with H.E.MR...what i mean is we should not underestimate people without knowing their potential!!...SHAMELESS stupids who have the brain inside their backside, & who are waiting to insult people to get over their frustrations, obviously cant understand these things!!..but people who have the brain inside their skulls, would definitely understand it!!!...ACHIERVERS DONT MIND WHAT LOSERS SAY..BUT THEY ACHIEVE!!...& THE REAL ACHIEVEMENT IS ACHIEVING IT WHEN OTHER PEOPLE SAY YOU CANT ACHIEVE IT!!!..Good Luck!

It is no point in scolding her here. It is a responsibility of the people in the southern province to show a good response to this kind things. It is very true that government has done an excellent work in defeating the terrorism and also some western forces against us. But their attitude that ´because of the high popularity due to war victory we can win by appointing any damn person to compete for votes´ must be discouraged. So I hope people in southern province will provide a good answer by electing good people from whatever the political party they vote.
