Body with gunshot wounds recovered from rubber estate

A body with gunshot wounds has been recovered from a rubber estate at Godellawatte in Nawagamuwa, the Police Spokesperson said.
The identity of the deceased has not been uncovered as of yet and police investigations into the incident have commenced, the police said.
Reportedly, live ammunition used for T-56 and empty bullets have been found at the scene.
