PNB officer interrogated over links with drug traffickers

An officer attached to the Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) is currently under interrogation of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), the Police Media Spokesman said.

The officer in question is being investigated over allegations of maintaining links with drug traffickers.

Reportedly, he had resold a stock of heroin, which was to be handed over to the PNB, back to drug dealers.
