Teen arrested over fake PMD release with Ada Derana logo

A teenager has been arrested for publishing false news regarding curfew on social media platforms, stated DIG Ajith Rohana.

An 18-year-old youth has been arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in this manner.

Reportedly, he had used the letterhead of the Presidential Secretariat and the logo of Ada Derana to mislead the public.
