Coronavirus: 171 more recoveries in Sri Lanka

The Ministry of Health confirms that 171 individuals who were previously diagnosed with Covid-19, have been discharged from medical care as they have made complete recoveries. 

According to the situation report, the following hospitals have reported the latest recoveries:

Ambanpola District Hospital - 09
Lunawa District Hospital – 01
Kosgama District Hospital – 03
Pimbura District Hospital – 02
Radawana District Hospital – 03
Palamune District Hospital - 01
Narammala District Hospital- 03
Iththepana District Hospital – 01
Bandaragama District Hospital – 01
Nochchiyagama District Hospital - 01
Embilipitiya Treatment Center – 07
Samanalawewa Treatment Center – 01
Kahawatta Treatment Center -09
Wathupitiwela Treatment Center - 01
Bingiriya Treatment Center -01
Rambukkana Treatment Center – 17
Polgolla Treatment Center -04
Yakkala Treatment Center -08

The new development brings the total number of novel coronavirus recoveries reported in the country to 11,495.

Sri Lanka’s confirmed cases court meanwhile stands at 16,583. The Epidemiology Unit says 5,035 of them are still under medical care.
