CMC to continue free mobile clinics until mid-December

The Colombo Municipal Council (CMC) has decided to continue its free mobile clinics organized for people residing in isolated areas or those who are under quarantine at urban flats within its limits, until mid-December.

The initiative came into effect from November 16, after careful consideration of the health and safety of those who suffer from non-communicable diseases.

CMC said nearly 4,000 individuals have been treated through these mobile clinics.

Meanwhile, a special ambulance service was introduced by the CMC from November 20 onwards to assist people residing in its administrative areas.
