President arrives in Parliament

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has arrived in the Parliamentary chamber a short while ago, Ada Derana reporter confirmed.

President Gotabhya Rajapakse arrived in Parliament today around 10.05 am and stayed in Parliament for about two hours.

He entered the Chamber of Parliament with Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa and spent about 35 minutes there. 

Former President Maithripala Sirisena was also seated in the Chamber at that time.

After leaving the Chamber, the President visited the President’s office in Parliament and met several Ministers and Parliamentarians of the ruling party.

He Left the Parliament premises at around 12.10pm.
