The Government has to bear the responsibility for several popular Bollywood stars not arriving in Sri Lankafor the Indian international Film Academy (IIFA) awards celebration being held in Colombo, says United National Party (UNP) parliamentarian Rosy Senanayake.

Ms. Senanayake added that though the Government had militarily it has failed to win peace.

She added that certain groups had pressurized Indian artistes to boycott the IIFA awards ceremony.

This has come about since the Government has still failed to provide a political solution to the North and East of Sri Lanka.
